Arriva owns Eurobus which operates through VT-Transman, a joint venture regional, urban and contract bus operator in Hungary.

The regulated bus market is dominated by the public sector and there are around 17,000 buses. Privatisation of the bus market is being considered.

Our market entry through an established Hungarian company places us in a good position to develop by further acquisition and growth.

2009
Arriva acquires the remaining 20 per cent stake of Interbus Invest.

2008
Arriva acquires 80 per cent of Interbus Invest, the holding company of Eurobus Invest, Hungary's largest private bus operator which operates bus services in Hungary and Slovakia.
